Elk Falls Provincial Park
The falls are easily accessible for viewing by car, and a short 5-minute stroll, or a 5-kilometer hike for those with a little more activity in mind.

The racetrack offers a full schedule of racing all summer, as well as their go-kart rentals. Special events often include concerts and fireworks. One of the year’s favorite events is the Saratoga Speedway Boat race. A spectacular challenging course, literally carved out of the wilderness, it is arguable one of the top courses on Vancouver Island.
Mount Washington Alpine Resort
As well as downhill skiing and boarding, Mt Washington offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and the inner tube park (The O-Zone). They are also open in the summer for scenic chair lift rides, mountain biking, Frisbee golf and more.
